The second LSU Diversity Giving Day, hosted by the LSU Office of Diversity, is an opportunity to show your support of diversity at LSU. All gifts will go directly towards the Diversity Programs Support Fund, which expands student scholarships for underrepresented populations, increases faculty diversity and engagement, strengthens student life, supports academic programs, and more. We are encouraging a record number of donations from all constituents – students, alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and friends.
Here’s the challenge:
We need you! We are asking that a minimum of 200 Tigers step up and give on Friday, December 6, 2019 (12:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. CDT) to raise a total of $10,000 in 24 hours. Anyone can make a gift ($5 minimum) to participate. The organization with the most participating donors will be able to direct a portion of the total funds raised to the LSU Office of Diversity program of its choice. The funds will be awarded based only on the number of donors who participate, regardless of the amount they contribute. Individuals will only be counted once for the donor total.
